Thanks to two friends who have already given and my letters haven't even officially gone out yet! Thanks also to Heights for giving generously toward the internship. Such encouragement! So far $1090.00 has been raised for 20schemes for the summer internship.
This is an encouraging start- $5,500 is the goal!
In addition to financial support I'm thankful for two friends from my community group helping me prep the support letters to send and for proofing help from Jamie, Elisabeth & Malea. I'm also thankful to Heights Church serving as a hub to send donations.

In today's facebook 'meeting' video for the interns Marci, who is the stateside lead for our team of interns, was discussing sarcasm and banter in the schemes. She said, "Develop thick skin and abundant grace." Love it.
She also discussed culture shock and food which prompted me to post this little nugget. :)
